3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith continued his power display on Tuesday versus the San Diego Padres. Smith took Pierce Johnson deep in the top of the first inning to give the Dodgers a 1-0 lead and would finish the game 1-for-3 with a walk. Smith has been having a great year at the plate and leads all National League catchers with 19 home runs on the year. He is also hitting .258 with 60 RBI. Smith remains one of the best backstops in the game and hitting in the middle of a dangerous Dodgers lineup should continue to give him plenty of RBI opportunities.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
