5 years agoSan Francisco Giants closer Will Smith picked up his 29th save in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the A's. Smith started the ninth inning with a two-run lead and allowed three singles and walked a run in but also had three strikeouts. It wasn't the cleanest save, but he got the job done as he has all season long. Smith has converted 29 of 32 save opportunities and has a 2.55 ERA and a 12.91 K/9 rate. He has been one of fantasy's best closers this season and should be in owners' starting rosters at all times.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
