3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith isn't in the starting lineup on Wednesday for a matchup with the Washington Nationals and right-handed starter Erick Fedde. Smith is hitting .255 with a .368 on-base percentage and four home runs in 125 plate appearances this season. Instead, it'll be Austin Barnes getting the start behind the plate and batting ninth. So far in 2022, Barnes is hitting .245 with a .327 on-base percentage and four home runs in 55 plate appearances.
