3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith will get a routine day off on Thursday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. Smith has been having a good season and is hitting a respectable .264 with five home runs and 19 RBI. Smith will be replaced by backup catcher Austin Barnes. Barnes has been dealing with an ankle injury and has missed the last three games, but he is good to go on Thursday. Barnes will bat eighth versus Mitch Keller.
