3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith will rest on Friday evening versus the New York Mets. Smith has been having a strong offensive showing this year and is hitting .260 with 18 home runs and 59 RBI. Replacing Smith in the lineup will be backup catcher Austin Barnes and he will bat eighth. Barnes hasn't done much at the plate this season with a .223 batting average with four home runs and 17 RBI. It's hard to recommend Barnes in DFS, but he is facing Carlos Carrasco and Carrasco has struggled to the tune of a 10.32 ERA in 11 1/3 innings this season.
