William Byron Just Not a Good Pick This Week at New Hampshire
3 years agoMaybe William Byron gets to drive close to the front this week but it is more likely that he does not. Byron has now finished 12th or worse in three straight races. At Atlanta last week, the Hendricks Motorsports Racing driver started 20th and finished a mere 19th. It was expected he could finish in the top ten. Byron did not come close and that sparked a little concern that the zip in the Hendricks car is long gone for now. The No. 24 may get few favors with a poorer pit stall position to boot. Starting 16th is not exactly optimal for a driver who thrives better in the top ten.
