William Byron May Need Help To Finish Well At Daytona
3 years agoWilliam Byron qualified among the top four drivers earlier in the week but starts Sunday 23rd at the Daytona 500. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver finished outside the top-10 in his duel race which surprised some pundits. Daytona has not been kind to Byron especially when it comes to the 200-lap race. Byron crashed in 2019 after leading 44 laps. He finished 40th last year after another DNF. Last year, mechanical issues and car damage limited him to 191 laps and another poor result. It is partly why Hendrick Motorsports drivers were practicing drafting on Friday. Byron might need help to fair well.
