5 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver William Byron led 21 laps in Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway, but he had to settle for a 19th-place finish after starting on the outside of Row 1 next to pole sitter Kyle Larson. He'll try to do better at Chicagoland Speedway where he has just one Cup start under his belt, finishing 20th. He has qualified third or better in five of his past six points races, but he has been unable to finish better than eighth.--Daniel Dobish
