2 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher William Contreras isn't in the starting lineup for Thursday's contest against the New York Mets. Travis d'Arnaud will start in his place, batting fifth and gearing up behind the dish. Contreras has appeared in 66 games this season, slashing .266/.341/.524 with 16 homers, 32 RBI, 26 walks, and 67 strikeouts. On a normal basis, he's worth rostering in deeper fantasy leagues or daily fantasy formats, but he should be avoided tonight as he takes a day off.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
