5 years agoToronto Maple Leafs right winger William Nylander finished with his 11th multi-point game of the season in Monday's 5-2 victory against the Predators, as the 23-year-old posted one goal, one assist, a plus-one rating and four shots on goal in the contest. Nylander opened the scoring with a breakaway goal less than five minutes into the first period, while his assist would come on Rasmus Sandin's first career NHL goal. Zach Hyman, Jason Spezza and Auston Matthews each found the back of the net in the victory, while goaltender Frederik Andersen made 34 saves to improve his record to 23-9-6 on the season. With the performance against the Predators, Nylander has now posted a career-high 23 goals, along with 22 assists and 45 points through 50 games. The fifth year forward should be owned across all fantasy formats and is making a strong case for comeback player of the year after coming off of a disappointing and shortened 2018-19 season.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
