5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun began some baseball activities on Saturday but is still expected to be out for another couple of weeks. He's been shelved for the last 10 days with a strain in his left quad which was unfortunate after such a terrific start in a Rangers uniform. Calhoun batted .435 in his first six games with a pair of long balls finally making an impact at the big league level after being acquired from the Dodgers in 2017 in the Yu Darvish trade. Owners with room on the bench or extra IL spots should hold on to the 24-year-old until he returns to the lineup.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
