Willie Calhoun Begins Rehab Monday
3 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder/designated hitter Willie Calhoun (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on Monday, according to Levi Weaver of The Athletic. Calhoun has been on the injured list since June 27 after fracturing his left ulna in his forearm. He underwent surgery to fix the issue and has been working his way back since. Before being sidelined, Calhoun was hitting .254 with a .385 slugging percentage and five home runs across 59 games. Calhoun will likely need at least a few rehab games before he returns. Fantasy managers can likely leave Calhoun to the waiver wire once he returns, since he might not be up to full speed after missing over two months.
