4 years agoTexas Rangers designated hitter Willie Calhoun continued to make up for lost time on Friday with two hits during the club's 5-4 loss to the Seattle Mariners. The 26-year-old went 2-for-4 with two singles, a run scored, and an RBI from the leadoff spot. Calhoun missed the start of the season due to a groin injury but he's now hitting .338 with three home runs and an encouraging 6-10 BB-K through 17 games. Last season, he also battled injuries and hit just .190 in 29 games. Calhoun looked to be on the verge of a breakout after his 2019 season which saw him slug 21 homers in 83 contests. Outfield eligible in most leagues, he should be grabbed in all formats and is owned in just 16% of Yahoo leagues.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
