4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun is expected to be activated off of the injured list prior to Tuesday’s contest versus Houston. Calhoun has been on the IL since Aug. 20 due to a strained left hamstring that was initially expected to keep him out for the remainder of the year, but he will instead get to attempt to improve upon the .430 OPS that he has delivered through his first 18 games. With Texas turning at-bats over to many of their younger players down the stretch, Calhoun should see a sizable role, although rostering him in anything but the deepest of season-long formats is a risky proposition. Having compiled a .524 SLG last year, fantasy managers are likely best keeping an eye on his health coming into the 2021 year.--Jesse Borek
