3 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras will sit out on Monday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Contreras has played the most game amongst backstops this season and is putting together another strong year. Contreras is hitting .227 with 13 home runs, 30 RBI and three stolen bases, but has been in a slump lately with a .179 batting average over his last two weeks. Contreras will be replaced by backup catcher Jose Lobaton. Lobaton has struggled in limited play and should be avoided in all formats with a tough matchup versus Freddy Peralta on Monday.
