3 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras had himself a day in Saturday's victory versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Contreras went 3-for-4 with two runs and a two-run home run. The two-run home run came in the top of the ninth inning with two outs against Joakim Soria and would be the eventual game winning hit for the Cubs. Contreras is now hitting .241 with 14 home runs and 33 RBI. With outfielder Joc Pederson dealt on Thursday, Contreras has been leading off for two consecutive games and it appears he will remain there for now. Contreras remains one of the best options behind the dish in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
