Willson Contreras Stays Hot With Two-Run Home Run
4 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's victory versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Contreras crushed his 13th home run of the season off of Walker Buehler and it would give the Cubs a 3-0 lead at the time. Contreras continues to be one of the best catchers in the league and he now leads all backstops in home runs on the season. Contreras is now hitting .238 with 13 home runs and 30 RBI. Contreras will look to keep it up versus Tony Gonsolin on Friday.
