4 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras will get the day off on Wednesday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Contreras has been hit twice, including once in the head this series and things have gotten heated between him and the Brewers. Manager David Ross will let Contreras avoid that on Wednesday and Tony Wolters will draw his first start of the season. Wolters will bat eighth and can be avoided in DFS on Wednesday. Expect Contreras to be back in the lineup on Thursday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Cubs will also rest David Bote and Eric Sogard will replaced him at second and bat second. Sogard has hit well in limited play, but draws a tough matchup against Brandon Woodruff.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
