3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames (quad) will miss his third straight game on Friday as he continues to deal with a quad injury. The issue first popped up over the weekend, and it caused him to exit Tuesday's game early. Adames has been on fire ever since joining Milwaukee, slashing .295/.379/.547 with 17 homers, four steals, 50 RBI and 51 runs scored over 81 games. Managers should continue to consider him day-to-day for now, but it's possible he might be facing an IL stint if there's no improvement soon. In the meantime, Luis Urias is starting at shortstop and batting second against the Twins.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
