Willy Adames Wakes Up, Goes 3-for-4
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Willy Adames went 3-for-4 with two singles, a double and two runs scored Monday against the White Sox. A hot Adames would make the Rays even more dangerous after their impressive start to the season. He is now 6-for-11 at the dish over the past three games after going 1-for-27 to start the season. If Adames can string together some more multi-hit games, he'll become a hot add. In 85 games last year, he slashed .278/.348/.406 with 10 home runs and six stolen bases. A full season of that kind of production would be very valuable for a guy with second base and shortstop eligibility in Yahoo leagues. If you need middle infield help, he is a nice speculative add in hopes that he can keep this up. The power and speed numbers should follow.
