3 years agoSan Francisco Giants infielder Wilmer Flores went deep Monday, knocking a two-run home run in a 5-4 extra-inning victory over the Philadelphia Phillies. It was his only hit in five at-bats. Flores now has a .258/.318/.419 slash line in 168 plate appearances, with five homers, 24 runs scored, and 27 RBI. He's earned regular playing time across the infield, and his versatility should keep him on the field even when injured first baseman Brandon Belt returns to the lineup. Flores is a solid fill-in in all league formats, though he is not a roster priority.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
