4 years agoNew York Mets catcher Wilson Ramos went 3-for-5, including a home run and two doubles in the Mets' 18-1 rout of the Blue Jays on Friday. Ramos drove in four and also scored four runs in the contest. It has been an overall disappointing season for Ramos in 2020. Even with the outburst on Friday, Ramos is batting .237 on the season with just a .302 on-base percentage, four HR, and 13 RBI in 114 at-bats. Of course, Ramos' home run on Friday was his second in three games played which could signify his bat is heating up as the season winds down. As such, managers in need of help at the thin catching position, particularly in two-catcher formats, may want to take a chance on Ramos if he's available. Just be aware that Ramos appears to now be in a timeshare with the newly acquired Robinson Chirinos, which will impact playing time.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
