Without Will Dissly, Seahawks Could Turn To Trade Market
5 years agoWith Seattle Seahawks tight end Will Dissly (Achilles) done for the year, the team is likely to be heavily involved in trying to improve the position at the trade deadline, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport also says that Seattle has been using some of their backup defensive ends as tight ends in practice this week because of their issues at the position. After trading Nick Vannett to the Steelers earlier this year, Seattle is left with just Luke Willson and Jacob Hollister on the roster. Expect them to explore the trade market, with whoever they land ending up in a pretty solid fantasy situation.
