X-Rays Come Back Negative For Eloy Jimenez
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (ankle) underwent X-rays and was diagnosed with a bruised left ankle after exiting Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He is "day-to-day" with a left ankle contusion. The 25-year-old fouled a ball off his ankle during the third inning of Wednesday's contest and was replaced by Leury Garcia. He went 1-for-2 with a solo home run before exiting. Jimenez appears to have avoided a significant injury but might not be available for the series finale Thursday against Seattle. Stay tuned for further updates.
