X-Rays Come Back Negative For Luis Robert
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (hand) underwent X-rays that returned negative after he left Tuesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He was diagnosed with a bruised left hand. The 25-year-old was struck on the left hand by a pitch and was removed in the bottom of the fifth inning during Tuesday's loss. He avoided a significant injury and is considered day-to-day. Robert is slashing .295/.331/.444 with 12 home runs, 56 RBI, 54 runs and 11 stolen bases over 384 plate appearances in 92 games. Robert is questionable for Wednesday's series finale against the Seattle Mariners. Adam Engel would see an uptick in playing time if Robert misses any games.
