3 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Christian Arroyo (leg) left Sunday's matchup against the Royals. The 26-year-old collided with Kike Hernandez in the bottom of the fifth, resulting in a bruised shin. Fortunately, X-rays revealed no structural damage, so it appears as if he will avoid taking a trip to the injured list. Nonetheless, fantasy managers should consider Arroyo day-to-day, although he may have a shot at making it back for the upcoming three-game series in Tampa Bay, which begins on Tuesday.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
