7 years agoUpdating a previous report, X-rays on Boston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price's left wrist came up negative after he was smoked by a line drive during his start on Wednesday. The Red Sox will send him for further testing. The left-hander appears to have avoided serious injury, but he may still have to miss a start or two. Price had allowed three earned runs while walking none and fanning three in three innings on Wednesday before leaving. He's been great for fantasy owners with a 14-6 record, 3.60 ERA and 8.98 K/9 over 26 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
