X-Rays Negative On Didi Gregorius
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Didi Gregorius (hand) underwent X-rays after leaving Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies early after being hit in the left hand by a pitch. The 32-year-old was diagnosed with a left hand contusion. He remained in the game to run the bases and was later replaced by Johan Camargo in his next plate appearance. The Phillies shortstop avoided a significant injury and is considered day-to-day. Gregorius is mainly an option in deep-league formats after slashing .286/.324/.371 with three RBI and two runs scored over 11 games in 2022. Camargo is expected to see an uptick in playing time while Gregorius is sidelined.
