5 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker (wrist) said his X-rays came back negative after he was hit on the wrist by a pitch during Cactus League action on Sunday. Winker took a pitch off his left wrist and was immediately removed from the game and checked out by team trainers. He does have a large bruise between his left wrist and forearm but he is expected to be fine. Winker might miss some action over the next few days but his status for Opening Day appears to be safe, fortunately for the Reds and for Winker's fantasy owners.--Matt T - RotoBaller
