6 years agoBoston Red Sox manager Alex Cora is making no friends in the fantasy baseball community as shortstop Xander Bogaerts is also out of Wednesday's lineup. Likewise, Eduardo Nunez and Ian Kinsler are also hitting the bench. With everyone out, Brock Holt is in at shortstop, Blake Swihart draws the start in right field, and Brandon Phillips will be making his Red Sox debut at second base. Bogaerts should be back in the lineup on Friday against the Houston Astros. The 25-year-old has had an excellent season to date as evidenced by his .281 average, 19 homers, 89 RBI, and six stolen bases.
