3 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts returned to the lineup Sunday night and hit the ground running, going 2-for-3 with two doubles before being removed for pinch-hitter Michael Chavis in the eighth inning of Boston's 9-1 loss to the New York Yankees. It had originally been reported that the day off Saturday was simply for rest, but it was later revealed that Bogaerts was dealing with some wrist soreness. Fantasy managers are surely relieved that Bogaerts seemed to be in perfect health Sunday night, and should remain a major contributor going forward.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
