6 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts had a moderately disappointing 2017 campaign, but he is currently on the path to fantasy redemption in 2018. On Thursday night against the Seattle Mariners, Bogaerts hit his 10th home run of the season in just his 209th at-bat. To put that into perspective, he did not hit his 10th home run until his 548th at-bat in 2017. Bogaerts has a .280 batting average on the season to go along with 10 homers, 36 RBI, and 30 runs scored. He has been a mainstay in the top half of the loaded Red Sox lineup all year long.
