Xander Bogaerts Has Three Hits On Friday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts went 3-for-4 in the loss to the Astros on Friday. The 26-year-old had three hits on the night, acquiring two singles in addition to smacking a double to left off of Houston starter Gerrit Cole in the bottom of the fourth inning. He has been active over the last seven days, batting .353 to go along with seven runs, six hits, and three RBI while walking eight times. He will look to keep it going in the final two games of the series with Corbin Martin and Brad Peacock on the hill for the Stros', with Bogaerts batting just .248 with 31 hits and four homers on 125 at-bats against rightys this season.
