Xander Bogaerts Homers For The 14th Time
3 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts went deep Saturday, ending the longest homerless streak of his season. It was his 14th long ball of the year, and his only hit in two at-bats. He also walked before being pinch-hit for by Michael Chavis, as the Red Sox were being blown out by Philadelphia. Even during his homerless streak, Bogaerts has remained extremely effective, slashing .310/.369/.483 with 13 runs scored over his last 15 games. Bogaerts remains a very top-end fantasy hitter, regardless of position.
