Xander Bogaerts Keeps Raking
6 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts went 3-for-6 with one RBI on Wednesday. He’s hitting .375 over the past two weeks with a homer, 11 runs, and nine RBI. Bogaerts is just about as solid as they come when he’s fully healthy in the heart of the Sox order. It would be nice to see him get going on the base paths to increase his value, but the season production has been phenomenal. His slash sits at .278/.376/.489 with eight home runs, 34 runs, and 32 RBI with one steal. He’ll look to stay hot in the Sox last game of the Toronto series and then head to Houston for a tough series against the Astros. He’s not a guy that should be sat in any matchups.
