6 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts was 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored in a 19-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday. The game put an exclamation point on to what has been a career season for the 25-year-old. Bogaerts has set career highs in a multitude of categories despite only playing in 134 games. He is slashing a bulky .288/.358/.517 with 21 homers, 100 RBI, eight stolen bases, and 70 runs scored. Bogaerts has been a top-three fantasy shortstop for the entirety of the season, although his 2019 value is somewhat dependent on where he signs in free agency.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
