6 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts sprained his finger sliding into second base during Friday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Bogaerts is considered day-to-day and is unlikely to be in Saturday's starting lineup. Hopefully, this injury is minor as Bogaerts has been having a fantastic fantasy season. He is carrying a .279 average with 34 runs scored, 12 home runs, and 44 RBI. He has been slotted in the heart of the Red Sox order for the entire year and will continue to pile up counting stats.
