4 years agoXiaonan Yan has now moved to an impressive 6-0 inside the Octagon, earning a unanimous decision over veteran Claudia Gadelha. Yan ended up with a huge striking edge over Gadelha, tallying 74 significant strikes (133 total strikes). Her takedown defense was huge in this bout, as she stopped eight of Gadelha's 10 attempted takedowns. Yan entered the bout eighth in the division, and it should be nothing but the cream of the crop for her from here on out. All of her wins have been in the form of unanimous decisions.
