4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (foot) could return to the starting lineup as soon as Monday, according to manager Mike Schildt. Molina last played on Friday before missing a pair of games due to a foot injury. There was some temporary concern that it could be a more serious injury, but Schildt said there was only "good news" about Molina, so it seems like it all ended up being a minor deal. Andrew Knizner has been starting in Molina's place but won't be a threat to his playing time once the veteran catcher is healthy. Molina is off to an excellent start this season, slashing .339/.382/.661 in 68 plate appearances.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
