3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (neck) is not in the lineup for Saturday night's matchup with the Reds after he was unavailable to pinch-hit in Friday's game due to neck stiffness, according to Zachary Silver of MLB.com. Molina was set to enter the game in the ninth inning as a pinch-hitter, but he started feeling stiffness in his neck which caused Adam Wainwright to enter the game as a pinch-hitter instead. There's no word as to whether this could be an issue that keeps him out for any length of time, so for now managers should consider him day-to-day.
