3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (foot) has elected not to play in the All-Star Game in Denver next week. Molina said he is choosing to take that time to continue recovering from a right foot tendon strain that landed him on the injured list back in April. While the news may leave Cardinals fans disappointed, it should excite fantasy managers who want the veteran catcher healthy down the stretch. Molina has improved as the season has gone on, hitting .296/.321/.407 with one home run and six RBI through 27 at-bats in the month of July.--Chelena Goldman
