7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (groin) is scheduled to start a minor league rehab assignment with the Double-A Springfield Cardinals on Saturday. He'll likely only require a game or two before returning to the Cardinals lineup, assuming everything goes well. Molina hasn't played since he was hit by a foul tip on May 5, causing a traumatic hematoma in his groin.
