4 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Yairo Munoz left Thursday’s game versus Miami early due to lower back spasms. Prior to his departure, Munoz went 0-for-2 at the dish, ceding way in left field to Tzu-Wei Lin. Having seen consistent playing time since making his season debut on Sept. 1, Munoz has compiled a .333 average through his first 12 games. Despite not having drawn a walk this year, Munoz has flashed potential with six extra-base hits and two stolen bases.
