3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays reinstated infielder Yandy Diaz from the COVID-19 list on Sunday and placed left-hander Jeffrey Springs on the COVID-19 list as a close contact in a corresponding move. Diaz is back in the starting lineup on Sunday, starting at first base and batting cleanup against Boston Red Sox left-hander Rich Hill. The 30-year-old went on the COVID list on Saturday, but he'll wind up missing just the one game. Diaz has yet to homer in 2022 and is 11-for-40 with only two RBI and five runs scored in his first 47 plate appearances of the season in 12 games. He'll be a decent DFS sleeper in the four-hole against an aging left-hander in Sunday's series finale against Boston.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
