3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz (shoulder) suffered a shoulder strain during Saturday's 6-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles. The 30-year-old went 1-for-3 with a run scored before exiting in the sixth inning. He was replaced in the game by Isaac Paredes. Diaz will be evaluated on Sunday and is considered day-to-day. Paredes would see an uptick in playing time while Diaz is sidelined. The 23-year-old homered twice in Wednesday's win over the Detroit Tigers. Fantasy managers looking for a streamer in deep-league formats can use Paredes while he's wielding a hot bat.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
