6 years agoTampa Bay Rays third baseman Yandy Diaz exited Sunday's game after being hit by a pitch on his left hand in the seventh inning. X-rays came back negative and he is considered day-to-day with a hand contusion. Diaz was 1-for-3 with a run in this game and is batting .256 on the year with nine homers. The Rays have an off-day Monday before the Dodgers come to town for a two-game set. Expect Diaz to be out there at some point in this series and to continue to build on a fine debut season with the Rays--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
