4 years agoTampa Bay Rays third baseman Yandy Diaz went 2-for-5 with one RBI on Thursday afternoon, as he extended his hitting streak to seven games in a 10-1 win over the Orioles. Over this streak Diaz is slashing .414/.452/.552 with five RBI and five runs scored, as he has improved his season line to .280/.401/.329 with 14 RBI and 15 runs scored in 42 games. After posting a 16.7 percent walk rate in 2020 and a 16.2 percent walk rate this season, Diaz has emerged as one of the top corner infield options in OBP formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
