3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run, a double and an additional run scored during Monday's 6-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. He was a triple shy from hitting for the cycle. The 30-year-old blasted a three-run shot off Blue Jays ace Robbie Ray in the fifth inning to give the Rays a 3-1 lead. He tacked on a double and single to collect three hits for his second multi-hit effort over his last five games. Diaz is slashing .257/.356/.389 with 12 home runs, 58 RBI and 59 runs scored over 511 plate appearances in 2021. The Rays infielder remains a strong option in on-base-percentage formats for the final stretch of the season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
