Yandy Diaz Out Of The Lineup Friday
2 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz (knee) is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the Kansas City Royals. Diaz will take a seat after leaving the game early on Thursday with a sore left knee. Consider him day-to-day for now. Before leaving the game, Diaz went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. With Diaz sidelined on Friday, Isaac Paredes is getting the start at the hot corner and is hitting eighth against Royals right-hander Brady Singer. Paredes won't have a ton of DFS upside hitting that low in the batting order, and he's hitting just .218 (50-for-229) on the year with 14 home runs, 34 RBI and 36 runs scored in 71 games in his first year in Tampa.
