2 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz was hit by a pitch during the ninth inning of Saturday's win over the Baltimore Orioles. According to manager Kevin Cash, Diaz "should be Ok" after getting hit in the forearm by a pitch. The 30-year-old went 0-for-4 before exiting Saturday's game. He is considered day-to-day. Diaz is slashing .294/.407/.390 with three home runs, 26 RBI, 40 runs, and a stolen base over 83 games in 2022. Diaz appears to have avoided a significant injury, and his next chance to return will be Sunday in the series finale against the Orioles.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
